A community of makers, crafters, bakers, and
growers gathered together in Hudson Valley, New York,
to share a harvest-inspired meal and give thanks.
When husband-and-wife team Chris Lanier and Dana McClure decided to leave their home in Brooklyn for the rustic environs of upstate New York, they knew to expect gorgeous autumns, bountiful summers, and plenty of space to explore the area’s distinct seasonality. But what they didn’t expect was the community of artisan makers, crafters and growers that would make this place feel like home.
Ravenwood opened its barn doors to a special Thanksgiving meal with Williams Sonoma to connect its local community of makers, crafters and growers who all share the same desire for nurturing their passions in a creative and sustainable way — and just as importantly, to celebrate and give thanks to the thriving local community they’re all part of.
